The journey

The consultant (Registered Migration Agent – MARN 2318073) at A&E Migration Services and Consulting Pty Ltd has been in the shoes of prospective migrants dreaming of settling in Australia and calling Australia “Home”.

He came to Australia on a student visa. After graduating with a double degree in Accounting & Finance, he worked in the assurance and advisory division of an international accounting firm (one of the Big 4) in his home country where he obtained his professional qualification as an Australian Chartered Accountant.

With 5-year auditing experience under his belt, he applied for an offshore skilled independent visa and continued to pursue further studies in Australia on another student visa. He graduated with a master’s degree in Business Administration, a master’s degree in Applied Finance and a master’s degree in Risk Management.

He was granted his permanent resident visa offshore and returned to Australia to build up his Australian work experience where he obtained other professional qualifications ( Certified Internal Auditor and Chartered Global Management Accountant). He became an Australian citizen after two years.

Since then, he had worked in two exchange-listed companies in his own country for another 7 years, with the last role in strategy development reporting directly to executive management. He returned to Australia permanently with his family 10 years ago and now calls Australia “home”.
